Job summary

Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam is offering an exclusive Sales internship in a legendary luxury setting. You will join the Sales & Marketing team and learn how commercial strategy blends with five-star hospitality.

The six-month program includes mentorship from the Learning & Development Manager, cross-training in departments, and an internship allowance of €600 gross per month, plus travel reimbursement and staff meals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Hospitality Management, Sales, or Commercial Economics.
• Strong interest in luxury hospitality.
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English.
• Available from June (September 2025 at the latest) for at least 6 months.
• Eager to learn, accurate and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze sales data for internal reporting
• Create inspiring and representative Sales Kits
• Support ongoing projects within the Sales team
• Process proposal requests and keep databases up to date
• Play an active role in the team's administrative tasks

About the internship
During your internship, you will be part of the enthusiastic and experienced Sales & Marketing team. You will work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Assistant Director of Sales and the Sales Managers. It's a unique opportunity to discover how commercial strategy and hospitality come together at five-star level.

What will you do?

• Collect and analyze sales data for internal reporting

• Support ongoing projects within the Sales team
• Process proposal requests and keep databases up to date
• Play an active role in the team's administrative tasks

You will be an important link between strategy and execution, with plenty of room to show initiative.

Qualifications

Your profile

• You are studying Hospitality Management, Sales, Commercial Economics or a similar field
• You have a strong interest in the world of luxury hospitality
• You have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
• You are available from June (September at the latest) 2025, for a period of at least 6 months
• You are eager to learn, accurate and have a proactive, positive attitude
