Job summary

Rolls-Royce Solutions Benelux B.V. in Dordrecht seeks a Sales Engineer – Sustainable Power to support the Business Development Manager for BESS projects. You analyze customer requests, prepare quotations and calculations, and coordinate pre-sales activities.

You liaise with suppliers, review technical documents, and act as the main contact for customers during the full project lifecycle. The role combines engineering know‑how with commercial sense in a global energy transition context.

Qualifications

• Technical HBO bachelor’s degree; 3 years project experience preferred.
• Experience with renewable energy projects (battery systems, solar or wind) preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Experience with cost calculations for projects.
• Proficient in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requests and prepare quotations and calculations.
• Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors to establish scope, pricing and technical details.
• Review technical documents from suppliers and contractors and provide technical advice during pre-sales.
• Act as contact person for internal and external customers during the complete phase of the project.
• Prepare the technical specification documents of the application and related systems.
