Job summary

Dijmex is seeking a Safety and Environmental Policy Manager to support management and staff in maintaining a safe, compliant workplace. You will develop, implement, and evaluate the safety policy, lead risk assessments, and drive preventive actions to foster a culture of safety across its sites in the Netherlands.

You will also prepare environmental aspects analyses and translate environmental risks into concrete measures, embedding sustainability into daily business operations and ISO standards

Qualifications

• HBO-level education in a relevant field.
• Background in integrated safety engineering preferred.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace inspections and weekly site visits.
• Advise on the implementation of HSE procedures.
• Lead the RI&E (Risk Inventory & Evaluation) process.
• Develop and organize toolbox talks.
• Keep procedures and regulations up to date.
• Maintain the employee handbook.
• Ensure ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 compliance.
