Job summary

RubyDeveloper.nl is seeking a skilled Ruby on Rails developer for a hybrid Eindhoven-based role. You will develop front-end and back-end components, build RESTful APIs, and ensure reliable software releases across test, acceptance, and production environments.

You’ll work in a collaborative team, applying TDD/BDD, Agile/Scrum processes, and modern tooling like Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and Jira. You’ll mentor juniors and help shape architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Ruby on Rails, React and modern web tech.
• Experience delivering REST/GraphQL APIs and frontend/backend integration.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Duties And Responsibilities

• Write and maintaining reliable code.
• Create front end and backend components.
• Identify and fixing bottlenecks and bugs in code.
• Develop and maintaining REST APIs.
• Write tests and perform end-to-end testing .
• Prepare the release plan and deploying the applications in different environments (Test, Acceptance and Production).
• Refine the features/user stories together with other developers in the team, to make sure the requirements are clear before planning a sprint.
• Participate in sprint rituals.
• Mentor and instruct junior team members.
• Capable of supporting the architect in design specifications.
