Miyajima Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily Contract Logistics operations in Rotterdam. This hands-on role involves directing a team, coordinating priorities, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth interaction between warehouse, administration, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years practical experience in logistics, warehouse operations, Contract Logistics, or distribution operations.
• Minimum 1 year supervising or leading employees (Team Leader/Supervisor or equivalent).
• Holding a valid Dutch work permission and based in/near Rotterdam.
• Willingness to work hands-on and lead by example.
• Strong understanding of SOPs and company policies, with ability to implement them in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Provide clear work instructions; manage staffing, priorities, quality, productivity, and safety.
• Coordinate between Warehouse Operations, Logistics Administration, and Customer Service.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments and inventory.
• Lead and coach operational staff; monitor KPIs and ensure SOP compliance.
• Identify issues, propose practical improvements, and escalate when needed.
