For our offshore operations in Den Helder, we are looking for an enthusiastic Rope Access Level 3 IRATA Supervisor.
In this role, you will work offshore on a 14-days-on / 14-days-off rotation. Your responsibilities are varied and play a key role in ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
This is a supervisory position within our Operations department, offering significant responsibility as well as the freedom to apply your expertise and introduce new ideas within the team. You will carry out site surveys, prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments, ensure compliance with safety regulations and work procedures, and act as the primary point of contact for the client during project execution.
As a Rope Access Level 3 Supervisor, you will oversee all rope access activities related to industrial coating and corrosion protection. You will ensure that surface preparation and coating work are carried out thoroughly and accurately, meeting the required quality standards, durability requirements and project specifications. You will identify any defects and report your findings accordingly.
You will prepare and issue work permits in accordance with applicable legislation, client requirements and company procedures. Working closely with your team and other stakeholders, you will ensure that all permits are reviewed and validated to maintain a safe working environment.
You will prepare and document detailed rescue plans that comply with applicable safety standards. This includes assessing potential emergency situations, identifying the necessary rescue equipment and resources, and training the team in the correct implementation of these plans.
You will proactively identify and assess workplace hazards by carrying out risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures to ensure the safety of both the project and the team.
As a proactive leader, you will motivate, coach and support your team while maintaining clear communication throughout the project. You will take responsibility for coordinating the work and ensuring that project objectives are achieved safely, efficiently and on schedule.
During project execution, you will monitor safety, progress and budgets while also remaining operational. When required, you will actively perform rope access work yourself. You are the crucial link between the office, the client and the offshore workforce.
