Job summary

Multi.engineering is seeking a shipbuilding engineer to join the Rotterdam-area shipyard on-site. You will use AutoCAD 2D to prepare and coordinate Plans & Arrangements for a new river cruise vessel, working closely with other engineers. English suffices for daily communication, and relocation support is available.

Both employment and freelance contracts are possible, with a one-year fixed-term contract. Based at the shipyard office, you will develop general arrangements, deck plans, and space

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating shipbuilding layouts and plans.
• Ability to work independently in a yard environment.
• Strong communication in English for daily coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop general arrangements, deck plans and space layouts in AutoCAD 2D.
• Prepare system and space descriptions for the vessel.
• Create foundation drawings for equipment and installations.
• Produce technical lists and fabrication drawings.
• Coordinate and monitor detailed engineering activities.
• Check that technical information is complete for construction.
• Provide engineering support during construction.
