iO Associates are currently partnered with a company operating at the forefront of advanced communications and technology solutions. They are looking for an RF Engineer to support the development, deployment and long‑term operation of RF systems within a global ground infrastructure.

This is a great opportunity to work across multiple RF bands, influence mission‑critical systems and contribute to the ongoing development of an expanding ground network.

About the Role

• Lead the design, integration and ongoing support of RF hardware systems.
• Work across multi‑band RF systems used for communication and sensing applications.
• Support the operation and optimisation of both in‑house and external ground station infrastructure.
• Define operational processes and contribute to monitoring, testing and maintenance activities.
• Carry out RF testing, validation, EMI assessments and performance analysis.
• Ensure systems meet technical expectations and adhere to relevant standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations and technical teams.
• Play a key part in shaping future RF capabilities and ground infrastructure strategy.

About You

• Background in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications or similar.
• Hands‑on experience with RF systems across a range of frequency bands.
• Exposure to ground station operations, RF testing or system‑level validation.
• Ability to analyse RF performance, troubleshoot issues and optimise system behaviour.
• Understanding of spectrum management or regulatory considerations is beneficial.
• Experience with satellite or radar systems is advantageous but not essential.
