Job summary

GLS in Enschede is seeking an organized logistics support assistant to join the daily return process. You welcome drivers, check documents, register returns, and help resolve discrepancies.

In this role you communicate with drivers, colleagues and customers, support the Team Leader, and contribute to improvements in logistics workflows. The position requires staying calm during busy times and working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport or a similar position.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and assisting returning drivers.
• Checking route documentation and administrative details.
• Registering and processing returns and discrepancies.
• Identifying operational issues and helping to solve them.
• Communicating with drivers, colleagues and customers.
• Supporting the Team Leader in daily operations.
• Ensuring accurate administrative processing.
• Contributing to improvements in logistics processes.
