Job summary

GLS Netherlands is seeking a Logistics Returns Employee to ensure returning drivers are received properly and that their deliveries and documentation are handled accurately. You will check route documents, process returns and discrepancies, identify issues, communicate with drivers and colleagues, support the Team Leader, and contribute ideas to improve logistics processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport or similar position.
• Preferably an MBO level 4 diploma, e.g. in logistics.
• Good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Confident addressing drivers and colleagues.
• Calm and maintain an overview during busy moments.
• Work accurately and quickly notice when something is not right.
• Strong communication skills and solution thinking.
• Ability to work independently as well as with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and assisting drivers when they return.
• Checking route documents and administrative information.
• Processing and registering returns and discrepancies.
• Identifying and solving operational issues.
• Communicating with drivers, colleagues and customers.
• Supporting the Team Leader with daily activities.
• Ensuring accurate and efficient administrative processing.
• Contributing ideas to improve logistics processes.
