Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers shop our store, find what they’re looking for, and enjoy a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, manage planograms, support BOPIS/SFS, enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, assist with safety programs, and uphold company policies to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program enrollments and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain stock and recovery to keep the store well merchandised and in stock
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies
• Interact respectfully and act as a role model for team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
