Job summary

PPHE Hotel Group seeks a Lifestyle PR & Marketing Intern Europe, focusing on art'otel Amsterdam while supporting projects across Europe. You will gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media, events, partnerships, and public relations under the Director of PR & Marketing Lifestyle Brands Europe.

This role offers exposure across Europe with a monthly allowance and opportunities to learn marketing systems and report on campaigns.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme.
• Available for a minimum internship period of five months.
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
• Creative mindset with an interest in content creation, social media, PR, and branding.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of PR and marketing activities aligned with brand and commercial objectives.
• Create engaging content for social media, websites, email campaigns, restaurants, bars, and events.
• Support the management of social media channels and community engagement.
• Assist with PR activities including influencer visits, media stays, press releases, and partnerships.
• Coordinate website updates and ensure content remains current and on-brand.
• Support the planning and execution of cultural activations, exhibitions, seasonal campaigns, and events.
• Assist with internal communications and marketing reporting.
• Maintain marketing assets, content libraries, and digital platforms.
• Support the management of third-party listings and online brand presence.
• Assist with photography, videography, and content creation projects.
• Learn and support the use of marketing systems including UpMail, Oaky, and Yext.
• Support the wider Lifestyle PR & Marketing team with administrative and project coordination tasks.

As a Lifestyle PR & Marketing Intern Europe, you will support the delivery of impactful marketing, PR, and brand activation initiatives across our lifestyle portfolio. Working closely with the Director of PR & Marketing Lifestyle Brands Europe, you will gain hands‑on experience in content creation, social media, events, partnerships, and public relations, with a primary focus on art'otel Amsterdam while supporting projects across Europe.

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Branding, Business Administration, or a related field
• Available for a minimum internship period of five months
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken
• Creative mindset with an interest in content creation, social media, PR, and branding
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
• Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or similar design tools
• Understanding of social media, digital marketing, and content creation
• Passion for hospitality, restaurants, bars, arts, culture, and events
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively
• Analytical mindset with interest in campaign performance and reporting
• Dutch or additional European languages are an advantage

We provide a monthly allowance of €750, exceeding Horeca CAO (BOL) guidelines, with full coverage of job-related expenses.
