Job summary

NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for Vermeer, to lead the dining team and connect kitchen and service to deliver unforgettable dining moments.

With a minimum of 3 years in leadership within fine dining and a MBO Level 4 Hotel Management qualification, you will drive refined menus, wine pairings, and exceptional service. Strong English is essential; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of leadership experience in a fine dining restaurant.
• Proven ability to lead teams in hospitality environments.
• Knowledge of wine and relevant certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Vermeer’s dining team and align kitchen/service for seamless guest experiences.
• Collaborate with the Chef to curate refined menus and wine pairings.

• You are passionate about hospitality and enjoy connecting with both local and international guests while staying on top of the latest culinary trends.
• You are creative, proactive, and enjoy bringing new ideas to life together with your team.
• You have at least 3 years of leadership experience in a fine dining restaurant and hold an MBO Level 4 Hotel Management degree or similar.
• You have a strong affinity for wine and hold relevant wine certifications.
• You have excellent organizational and communication skills.
• You have a good command of English; Dutch is a plus.
