Zusammenfassung

Leiden University is seeking a proactive Research Project Manager to join the Luris Research Project Management Pool. You will plan, organise and manage complex research and valorisation projects, supporting researchers through the lifecycle and assisting with acquisition activities.

You will collaborate with principals, funders and consortium partners, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring compliance with contracts and policies. Hybrid work within the Netherlands is possible.

Qualifikationen

• Master, or comparable experience.
• Knowledge of externally funded research projects and the national/international funding landscape, especially NWO, or other Dutch funding opportunities.
• Work experience in a research support role within an academic/research environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate the execution of research and valorisation projects in close collaboration with the Principal Investigator/ Project Lead.
• Monitor and report progress and budget, ensuring compliance with the funding agency requirements, agreed contracts and policies.
• Assist with all aspects of the projects’ contractual documentation, including change requests, amendments, and the drafting of other agreements as required.
• Maintain relationships with consortium partners, controllers, funders and other key stakeholders.
• Support the development of acquisition strategies for new projects and promote the new project management pool across the university.
