Job summary

WLG seeks an experienced Requirements Engineer to drive the requirements management and benefits realisation for a NATO-related programme. You will engage across political, operational and tactical levels, align with governance models, and own the benefits realisation workstream to ensure outputs meet policy and programme objectives.

You will maintain current security policy and classification guidance, track traceability of technical requirements with agencies and host nations, and collaborate

Qualifications

• A bachelor degree or higher.
• At least three of the last ten years in requirements engineering, covering both management and elicitation.
• Capability development experience, ideally under a common-funded governance model.
• Capability development on communications or infrastructure programmes in classified environments.
• Hands-on experience with a formal requirements management tool such as IBM Rational DOORS.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and updating the requirements management and benefits realisation plans as the capability develops.
• Keeping the security policy, documentation and classification guidance current.
• Engaging stakeholders and users at political, operational and tactical level to identify requirements and policy developments.
• Working with the requirements and quality assurance branches so the programme stays aligned with organisational best practice.
• Owning the benefits realisation strand as management products are produced and projects land.
• Developing measurable capability acceptance criteria with agencies, stakeholders and end users.
• Tracking technical requirements with agencies and host nations, keeping validity and traceability intact.
• Authoring the relevant sections of the capability programme plans.
• Managing every output in the requirements management system.
