Bricknest in Amsterdam is seeking a Project Manager to take ownership of renovation projects. You will ensure quality and safety on-site, act as a single point of contact for clients, and lead subcontractors. This is a 32-hour role where you'll directly influence project outcomes.

This is a 32-hour (4-day) role. You'll own a defined set of projects end to end rather than being on call across everything — so the work stays focused and the client always knows who's accountable.

What you’ll do

• Safeguard quality & safety by inspecting the progress on-site and ensuring that it adheres to our standards and aligns with design.
• Act as a Single Point of Contact for the client.
• Lead subcontractors and guard the critical path.
• Send weekly client updates (photos, progress, decisions), answer questions, and request changes properly via change orders.
• In the sales phase, think along technically, perform site inspections, and review quotes.

Who you are

• 2–5 years in renovation or residential construction.
• Stress-resistant and in control of the overview.
• Communicates smoothly with all parties and makes decisions.
• Driver’s license B; willing to travel within NL.
• You speak construction in Dutch and English.
• You live centrally in North or East Netherlands (e.g., Amsterdam, Almere, Zwolle, Apeldoorn, Meppel) so you can reach projects quickly.
• Bonus: knowledge of the Dutch Building Code (Bouwbesluit) / MBO or HBO Bouwkunde / affinity with construction apps.
