Job summary

GroenLeven is seeking a Project Manager in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, to lead renewable energy projects from late development through transaction readiness. You will oversee scope, budget, liquidity, planning and governance across the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes strong project control, financial discipline and stakeholder management. Experience in renewable energy helps, but candidates from construction, infrastructure or other capital-intensive fields are welcome.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in project management within capital-intensive environments.
• Proven track record managing multi-stakeholder projects with budget, schedule and delivery responsibility.
• Experience in financial modelling, contract management, procurement and structured project governance.

Responsibilities

• Own the project budget and control DEVEX, CAPEX, OPEX, cash flow and liquidity throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Track performance against plan and escalate deviations with proposed corrective actions.
• Maintain and update the financial model in collaboration with the Commercial Project Analyst to ensure a current decision-ready basis.
• Actively manage project risk and propose clear options and recommendations when issues arise.
• Manage scope with discipline and define what is included, excluded, and the impact of changes.
• Build and maintain realistic project schedules in Workfront and ensure milestone logic is accurate.
• Prepare governance materials for governance bodies to required standards and on time.
• Coordinate contracts, procurement and due diligence; ensure data room is complete, current and audit-ready.
• Manage interfaces across technical, legal, commercial and financial workstreams to avoid unresolved issues.
