Job summary

OMP is seeking a User Engagement Consultant in Rotterdam to coach and guide our customers’ key users and planners for optimal use of the OMP planning solution. You will translate complex problems into clear workflows and serve as the first contact for tool questions, driving value from the software.

In Delivery within Customer Solutions, you’ll design training plans, map processes, validate scenarios, and share best practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
• Ability to map complex problems into clear and structured flow charts.
• Outstanding communication skills in English.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Flexibility to tailor presentations to the audience’s knowledge.
• Analytical mindset with a patient, critical approach.
• Commitment to uncover root causes and improve processes.
• Good people skills and approachable personality.
• Ability to motivate others and maintain project momentum.

Responsibilities

• Support key users during validation workshops and guide scenario variants.
• Ensure planning actions support defined KPIs from the design phase.
• Guide business process owners to refine planning activities into actions.
• Share best practices and tips for planner satisfaction.
• Document the planning cycle with flow charts and clear instructions.
• Help customers improve master data quality for the planning software.
• Develop a full-scale training plan for future planning cycle roles.
