Job summary

OMP is seeking a Presales Consultant to translate complex customer needs into compelling supply chain demos and proofs of concept. You will craft industry-specific storylines, support the sales cycle as an industry advisor, and work with the Delivery Advisory team on advisory assignments.

You’ll demonstrate solutions at conferences and customer meetings, translate requirements into design concepts, and shape the standard demo portfolio in collaboration with experts. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Programming, Supply Chain, or similar.
• Good knowledge of supply chain planning processes and solutions.
• Interest in B2B sales.
• Excellent and empathetic communication skills when writing, presenting, demonstrating, and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Devise engaging industry-specific demos and proofs of concept for prospects and customers.
• Support the Business Development team as an industry advisor during the sales process.
• Collaborate with the Delivery Advisory team on advisory assignments within your industry.
• Develop and refine industry-specific product demos and storylines.
• Present demos at conferences and during customer meetings to convey value.
• Translate customer requirements into high-level solution designs with internal teams.
