You’ll investigate vulnerabilities across the Ubuntu ecosystem and collaborate with internal and upstream developers to deliver robust security patches. The role blends security engineering with software development, code auditing, vulnerability research, and tooling.

Qualifications

• Understanding of software security vulnerabilities and attack techniques.
• Familiarity with coordinated vulnerability disclosure practices.
• Experience with open source development tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, investigate, fix, and test vulnerabilities affecting Ubuntu ecosystem packages.
