Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Structural & Architectural Design Engineer to contribute to a major AI data center infrastructure project. You will work across building envelope, internal layouts, structural load-bearing systems, life safety, lighting, and infrastructure pathways to support high-density AI computing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in structural and/or architectural design.
• Experience with load-intensive facilities and data centers.
• Direct data center or industrial facility experience is applicable.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary designs and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design building envelope systems for critical data center environments.
• Develop internal partitioning, space planning, and security zones.
• Perform structural load calculations for raised floors and equipment areas.
• Calculate floor-loading capacity for high-density liquid-cooled racks and related zones.
• Design tunnels and pathways for cable trays, piping and services.
• Develop lighting concepts aligned with data center operations.
• Coordinate drawings with MEP teams, considering loads, clearances, and routes.
• Review design-build packages for risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire-safety regulations, and resilience requirements.
• Coordinate permitting matters with authorities and stakeholders.
• Support long-term space planning and scalability strategies.
