Jobgether is seeking a Senior Microsoft Windows SQL Server DBA based in the Netherlands. You will own enterprise database environments, acting as a technical authority on SQL Server, including architecture, optimization, high availability, disaster recovery, security, capacity planning, and automation.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience in mission-critical environments.
- Expert-level proficiency with SQL Server 2019/2025 on Windows Server 2019/2022.
- Strong optimization, indexing, partitioning, and performance troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with Always On, WSFC, and disaster recovery planning and testing.
Responsibilities
- Architect, install, and maintain SQL Server 2019/2025 and Azure SQL Database.
- Lead end-to-end application performance engineering and optimize problematic queries.
- Monitor performance using DMVs, Extended Events, Wait Stats, Query Store and tools.
- Design and test backup/recovery strategies; own RTO/RPO objectives.
- Maintain high availability and disaster recovery using Always On, WSFC, and log shipping.
- Mentor junior DBAs and drive incident response and post-incident reviews.
