Job summary

Eye Security is seeking a Staff Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen our Incident Response and Security Operations capabilities. You will lead incident responses from investigation through recovery, serving a broad European client base in a product-driven MDR environment.

You will mentor peers, work with top-tier security professionals, and help improve playbooks and workflows. Fluency in English is required, Dutch is essential for client communication.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on Incident Response, Digital Forensics or Security Operations.
• Ability to independently lead and manage cybersecurity incidents end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux and macOS security surfaces and architectures.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure and cloud security concepts across major platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as a leading technical authority within Security Operations, driving strategic improvements.
• Lead cyber incident responses from intake through recovery.
• Coordinate investigations and drive outcomes as technical lead.
• Conduct forensic investigations to determine attack scope, root cause and impact.
• Support customers during active incidents with clear technical guidance.
• Contribute to MDR and SOC activities when not handling active cases.
• Collaborate with management, legal, law enforcement when required.
• Mentor junior and medior responders to raise team maturity.
• Improve incident response playbooks and processes continuously.
