Job summary

EverAI is a fully remote AI dating platform builder. We are seeking a Security Engineer to own protecting our product, users, and collaborators as we scale a fast-growing platform. You’ll work hands‑on across application security, risk & compliance, and security awareness, with a focus on AI‑specific threats as our product evolves.

This is a hands‑on role reporting directly to the Security Lead, with regular check‑ins on priorities and a strong emphasis on secure development from day one.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in application security with code reviews and vulnerability management.
• Experience coordinating or conducting security audits and penetration tests.
• Comfortable shipping code and working with Git/GitHub workflows.
• Scripting/automation skills.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM security concepts (prompt injection, jailbreaking, adversarial testing) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly code reviews to catch vulnerabilities before they ship.
• Track, prioritize, and drive remediation of security vulnerabilities across the stack.
• Coordinate external security audits and penetration tests, and follow through on findings.
• Maintain and evolve the risk register and map services to prioritise exposure.
• Support audit follow-up and keep GRC documentation up to date.
• Communicate new threats to the team and broadcast security updates company-wide.
• Run phishing simulations and security training (via Riot).
• Own monitoring of security channels and alerts, including weekend coverage.
