Job summary

Intact Insurance Europe is seeking a Risk Engineering Consultant (Netherlands-based) to deliver risk surveys, write reports and provide risk management support to underwriters and clients across BENELUX. The role is home-based with sporadic office attendance, requiring travel within the Netherlands and Belgium and occasional international travel.

The successful candidate will combine analytical skills with strong communication and risk control expertise.

Qualifications

• Engineering/risk management background with property risk experience.
• Degree in Engineering, Risk Management or related field.
• Fluent Dutch and English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed risk assessments at customer locations and conduct account/prospect reviews to secure profitable business.
• Provide technical risk management support to underwriters with risk selection and underwriting practices.
• Support underwriters and stakeholders in promoting the Intact Risk Management proposition to customers and brokers.
• Contribute to development of Risk Management propositions using knowledge of customers and risks.
• Manage customer interactions efficiently to deliver high standards of satisfaction and advise colleagues on risk concepts.
