Job summary

Monks is seeking a strong Paid Search Lead to drive strategy and hands-on optimization across large accounts, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-growing digital agency focused on client ROI.

You will present strategy to stakeholders, own pacing and budgets, mentor team members, and help shape the future of search with automation and AI. Willingness to travel to client meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Paid Search experience.
• Experience handling large Paid Search budgets (at least $1MM monthly).
• Experience presenting strategy to marketing executives and senior teams.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with YouTube, Performance Max, and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Paid Search Lead on large accounts, delivering strategy and hands-on optimizations.
• Own Paid Search strategy for multiple accounts and ensure campaigns hit target spend.
• Present strategy, performance, and priorities to client stakeholders.
• Collaborate on holistic media plans with cross-channel leads, including forecasting and reporting.
• Define roles and delegate work within client Paid Search teams.
• Guide junior members and manage pacing across the book of business.
• Mentor team on SEM skills and client management.
