Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Network Automation / NOC Engineer based in the Netherlands to join a global infrastructure team supporting latency-sensitive trading environments where reliability is crucial.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain connectivity across data centers, offices, cloud, and private links, using Arista, FortiGate, BGP, eVPN, Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Git, while driving automation and CI/CD improvements.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional experience in network engineering or NOC roles.
• Solid understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with major networking vendors (Cisco/Arista/Fortinet) or equivalents.
• Experience supporting or administering firewalls (ACLs, NAT, VPNs).
• Experience with change-control processes in production environments.
• Exposure to data center networking and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Python, Ansible, Terraform or similar automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support global network connectivity across data centers, offices, cloud environments, and private links.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity issues across first- and second-line support.
• Administer firewall configurations, including ACL changes, NAT rules, VPN checks.
• Provision and maintain VLANs, interfaces, trunks, and cross-connects on Arista or similar infra.
• Coordinate network turn-ups, moves, adds, and changes with providers and internal teams.
• Configure and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and health checks.
