Job summary

NovoServe is hiring a Network Engineer to join our operations team in Enschede. You will ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of our global bare-metal network and work with DevOps to automate the network stack.

Key duties include designing and operating resilient network solutions, participating in on-call duties, and optimizing traffic while collaborating with Development to strengthen security and DDoS protections.

Qualifications

• Requires HBO level thinking and working.
• Solid knowledge of router technologies and protocols (BGP, IS-IS, VXLAN, EVPN).
• Strong Linux systems experience and Arista networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate resilient, high-performing network solutions.
• Collaborate with Development to automate the network and enhance DDoS protection.
• Contribute to incident management and on-call duties, and optimize traffic.
