Job summary

Monograph is seeking a Motion Designer who can transform ideas into finished ads and videos with strong composition, pacing, and visual storytelling. You’ll collaborate with designers and writers, while also delivering polished work independently.

Proficiency in After Effects and comfort with generative AI are essential, and experience with Framer or web design is a must. The role centers on crafting motion-led content that explains the product clearly and drives action, from concept through

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio of motion-led ads, product videos, launch films, or other self-made work.
• Deep command of After Effects and a fast, organized production process.
• Strong design judgment across typography, composition, color, layout, and visual systems.
• An editor’s sense of rhythm, timing, sound, and story.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and an interest in using them to improve work. Experience with Framer or web design is a must.

Responsibilities

• Take ads and videos from brief through concept, design, animation, editing, sound, and final export.
• Capture the Framer UI and, when needed, animate it by hand to show the product clearly.
• Create motion graphics that look beautiful, explain the product clearly, and drive action.
• Work with designers, writers, and marketers while owning projects from start to finish.
• Create distinct versions that test meaningful changes in design, motion, pacing, or message.
• Share early, iterate quickly, and know when to ship.
