Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design engineering with CAD and FEA.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, NX, Creo, or CATIA, multi-platform preferred.
• Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and documentation.
• Strong understanding of stress analysis, FEA principles, and validation processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with meticulous documentation.
• Experience as a design engineer modeling components and defining requirements.
• Knowledge of end-to-end engineering processes from requirements to validation.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 3D CAD models of simple mechanical components using SolidWorks, NX, Creo, or CATIA.
• Interpret and analyze technical drawings, identifying dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
• Document requirements, specs, and tolerances in clear formats.
• Contribute insights on conceptual stress analysis and FEA tasks for model validation.
• Review and refine CAD outputs and documentation for accuracy.
• Provide feedback to help train AI system outputs in mechanical engineering.
• Collaborate asynchronously with cross-functional teams via remote tools to meet project goals.
