Job summary

Hitachi Energy The Netherlands B.V. is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead on-site construction and commissioning for HVDC converter station projects in the Netherlands and beyond.

You will coordinate daily operations, manage site teams and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and drive projects to timely, cost-effective completion on-site from mobilization to handover. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 5 years in site management for energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as a Site Manager in energy or industrial construction projects.
• Fluency in English and Dutch, written and spoken.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience in contract management.
• Hands-on experience in civil works, installation, and/or commissioning.
• Certified knowledge in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site across France, Europe, and abroad.
