Placements24 is seeking a Remote Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to a diverse portfolio of global projects. You will design electrical systems for international facilities, create schematics, BOMs, and specifications, and ensure compliance with global codes.

This fully remote role offers autonomy and a path to work on cutting-edge infrastructure worldwide. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years in electrical design, with hands-on CAD

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
Minimum 7 years of electrical design experience on international projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
Strong written and verbal communication for remote work.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed electrical designs including single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring schedules, and panel layouts for international projects.
Specify and select electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, motors, drives, and control systems.
Prepare technical documentation including BOMs and construction support documents.
Ensure designs comply with IEC, NEC, BS and other international codes.
Provide remote technical assistance during construction and commissioning.
