B Lab in Amsterdam, NL is seeking a Communications & PR Manager to lead the press office and drive earned media across a global network. The role reports to the Director of Strategic Communications and requires strong news judgment and time‑ pressured execution.

You will build journalist relationships, draft statements, and collaborate with regional teams to align messaging across channels. This is a full-time, remote-first role based in the Netherlands with commuting distance to Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in media relations, PR, or press office roles.
• Proven track record securing earned media coverage.
• Experience running press office logistics and media outreach.
• Proficiency with media monitoring tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision).
• Ability to coordinate cross-regional PR and manage stakeholders.
• Excellent writing/editing for op-eds, speeches, talking points.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound media relations and triage press inquiries.
• Pitch proactively and maintain media lists; cultivate priority outlets.
• Pitch and place thought leadership content and bylines.
• Lead drafting and coordination of reactive statements and responses.
• Coordinate with regional leads to amplify coverage and consistency.
• Lead writing support for speeches and talking points.
• Monitor media trends and inform strategy.
