Job summary

DSV is seeking a Business Controller at the ’s-Heerenberg site to analytical drive financial performance. You will partner with management and operations, translate data into improvements and support strategic projects while ensuring compliance.

You will collaborate across departments, build solid controlling foundations, and work in a growth-focused, international logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business economics with 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Excel, SAP and affinity with IT systems.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Flexibility during the monthly closing process.
• Proactive mindset and ambition to develop within controlling.

Responsibilities

• Analyse figures and translate data into concrete improvements for the logistics operation.
• Act as financial sparring partner for management and operations teams.
• Achieve solid foundation in business controlling and grow with the organisation.
• Provide insights into figures, analyses and forecasts to steer performance.
• Cooperate with internal departments and Shared Service Center and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare accurate financial reporting, forecasts and budgets.
• Identify improvement opportunities through cost-structure analyses and operational performance.
• Advise on investment decisions and support strategic projects.
• Respect internal controls and optimise processes.
