Qualifications

• Proficient in Python programming for CAD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with 3D CAD or computational geometry.
• Ability to interpret dimensioned engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong 3D spatial reasoning and precision in geometry.
• Experience validating or troubleshooting CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Interpret dimensions and geometric relationships from technical drawings.
• Translate 2D schematics into accurate 3D mechanical models.
• Decompose complex components into essential geometric features.
• Model curved profiles, sweeps, lofts, fillets, chamfers, and Boolean operations.
• Use Python to generate or automate CAD geometry.
• Export valid, watertight models in STEP or similar formats.
• Validate dimensions, topology, volume, surface area, and inertia properties.
• Diagnose discrepancies between expected and generated geometry.
