Job summary

SchoolTalent, a Netherlands-based EdTech startup, invites you to join as a Bookkeeper – Remote. You’ll support financial operations, maintain accurate records, and work closely with the finance controller and CFO while the company scales across Europe.

This role offers autonomy, exposure to Dutch and German entities, and the chance to optimize processes in Exact Online, invoicing, and payroll workflows. English and Dutch fluency are required, with 2–3 years of financial administration experience.

Qualifications

MBO-niveau 4 or HBO degree in accounting/finance.
2–3 years of financial administration experience.
Proficient in Excel; experience with Exact Online preferred.
Payroll experience.
Fluent in English and Dutch.
Able to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
Curious, self-driven, flexible, precise, resilient, and a team player.

Responsibilities

Record and verify invoices in Exact Online.
Prepare and send sales invoices.
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Check timesheets, receipts, and expense claims.
Maintain fixed assets, depreciation, and project administration.
Assist with setup and maintenance of Exact Online with the Financial Controller.
Contribute to process improvements and digitalization.
Maintain accurate digital filing and document management.
First contact for support and sales questions.
Engage in debt collection processes.
