Job summary

Selby Jennings in Amsterdam seeks a Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join the finance team of a regulated Dutch banking institution. You will ensure timely and accurate regulatory and statistical reporting to local and European authorities, supporting governance and control frameworks.

You will collaborate with Finance, Risk, Treasury and Operations, assess impact of new products and changes, and pursue automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics or related field.
• ACCA/ACA/CPA/RA or equivalent is advantageous.
• Experience in regulatory/prudential/financial reporting in banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting platforms (AxiomSL, Regnology, OneSumX).
• Strong analytical, data management, reconciliation and reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver regulatory and statistical reports to local and European authorities.
• Support prudential reporting (capital, liquidity, financial reporting returns).
• Evaluate regulatory impact of new products, services, transactions and initiatives.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure accuracy, compliance and consistency.
• Maintain and enhance reporting controls, policies and documentation.
• Monitor processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
• Analyse data to identify trends and key performance drivers.
• Support audits with timely reporting information.
• Stay informed of regulatory developments and implement changes.
• Contribute to regulatory change projects and strategic initiatives.
