Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Principal Technologist, Regulated Industries, for the Benelux region. You will be the senior technical authority on cloud adoption for regulated industries across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, engaging with customers, regulators, and industry bodies on security, data residency and compliance.

You will split time between customer-facing technical work and internal AWS collaboration, influencing service roadmaps and ensuring regulatory requirements are

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch (speaking, writing, reading).
• Experience designing and implementing cloud architectures.
• Citizen of the Netherlands with ability to obtain defense security clearance.
• Experience with public sector, defense or regulated financial services.
• Able to present complex technical information to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical position on regulated-industry cloud adoption in Benelux.
• Lead executive technical engagement across cloud security and compliance.
• Coordinate with AWS service teams to align roadmaps with regulatory requirements.
• Represent AWS at conferences and publish guidance.
