Job summary

Swift is seeking a Head of Regional Security to provide senior leadership across physical security, risk management, and security investment planning for its regional operations in Europe. The role requires credibility with government and regulatory bodies and operational expertise to lead major security programs across critical infrastructure sites.

You will own regional security strategy, manage regulatory reporting, and coordinate audits, with a focus on reducing risk and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a management role leading security investment projects.
• Experience in highly regulated environments involving critical infrastructure.
• Experience navigating geopolitical environments and assessing their impact on people and infrastructure.
• Track record of leading or coordinating investigations, executive travel, events, security audits and regulatory reporting.
• Strong command of security governance, risk frameworks, and investment/business case development.
• Excellent stakeholder management, with regulators and senior executives.
• Desirable: background in executive protection, counter-drone strategy, or manned guarding oversight.
• Experience across multiple high-risk regional security and operating models (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
• Recognised security management qualification (CSMP, CPP, Security Institute or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership: develop regional security strategy and oversee major security investment projects.
• Provide security leadership across critical infrastructure and regulatory frameworks.
• Own relationships with government security bodies and law enforcement; coordinate regulatory reporting.
• Monitor geopolitical environment and translate intelligence into actionable guidance for leadership.
• Lead a team of security specialists and manage performance; ensure timely project delivery.
