Job summary

PPHE Hotel Group is seeking a Regional Marketing Intern for February 2027 at our Regional Office in Amsterdam. The role supports the marketing team across Park Plaza Netherlands, restaurants, bars, and events, helping bring ideas to life with social media, content creation, and campaigns.

You will shoot and edit content, plan social calendars, research industry trends, assist with events and promotional materials, and help keep marketing channels on brand.

Qualifications

• Currently studying at Bachelor (or higher) level in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Branding.

Responsibilities

• Support social channels, plan and create engaging photo/video content, and help plan the social calendar.
• Research city events, hospitality trends and cultural happenings to inspire campaigns.
• Create ideas for events, collaborations and marketing activations across hotels, bars and restaurants.
• Assist with event planning and promotion including setup and decorations.
• Design and print collateral and update websites for hotels, restaurants and bars.
• Keep listings and marketing portals up to date and on brand.
• Organize marketing drives and digital content.
• Contribute to email marketing campaigns and content creation for different audiences.
• Provide general admin and coordination support for the team.

About the Role

Every day, we create valuable memories for our guests and stakeholders across our Park Plaza Hotels in the Netherlands. We also oversee iconic destination restaurants like TOZI and Carstens Steakhouse.

Behind the scenes, our Marketing team drives the creative vision and execution. We’re looking for a creative, proactive and trend-savvy intern who is bursting with ideas and eager to support and shape our marketing efforts.

What will you be doing?

• You’ll be an integral part of the Park Plaza Netherlands regional marketing team and support in the following ways:
• You’re big into social media and enjoying shooting content - proactively manage all social channels (including restaurants and bars and Park Plaza), as part of that you’ll direct, shoot and edit content for all social channels and help to plan our social calendar
• Research and report on city events, hospitality trends, and cultural happenings to inspire campaigns
• Create and propose ideas for events, collaborations, and marketing activations across hotels, bars & restaurants
• Assist with event planning and promotion – including set up, decorations, sourcing DJs/partners, designing flyers, etc.
• Support with designing & printing of collateral and website updates for hotels, restaurants and bars
• Keep third-party listings and marketing portals up to date and on brand
• Organize and maintain marketing drives and digital content
• Contribute to email marketing campaigns and content creation for different audiences
• Provide general admin and coordination support for the overall team

We’re looking for someone who…

• Is passionate about social media and excited to take ownership of creating engaging photo & video content
• Brings a proactive attitude – we want someone that is curious, likes to bring innovative ideas · Has experience or interest in copywriting, content creation, email marketing and tools like Canva, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro – or eager to learn!
• Follows trends in hospitality, lifestyle, food & drink and knows what’s hot (and what’s not)
• Is currently studying at Bachelor (or higher) level in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Branding
• Can join us for 6 months or longer
• Is fluent in English (Dutch is a plus!)
• Is organized, goal-oriented, and excited to learn and grow with a fast-moving team
• Wants to develop skills in content strategy, branding, and multi-channel communication
