Job summary

Nebius is building the next generation of AI infrastructure and is scaling rapidly. We are seeking a proactive Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to embed standards across sites, turning strategy into practical action and partnering with site and regional teams.

You'll own the site EHS plan, drive risk-based improvements, oversee incidents and investigations, and help Nebius maintain compliant, sustainable operations across multi-site environments globally.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or Certificate level, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, plus 3+ years' EHS experience.
• Strong working knowledge of country legislation, with the ability to translate it into practical, workable controls.
• Subject-matter expert on the ground capable of deep technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Proven experience leading incident response and investigations, including high-pressure situations.
• Track record building trust and credibility with stakeholders at every level.
• Coaching and mentoring mindset with experience developing capability in others.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation judgement balancing risk, workload and pace.
• Excellent communication skills to advise, challenge constructively, and bring fresh ideas.
• Continuous-improvement mindset and ability to grow within a scaling function.

Responsibilities

• Own and implement the site EHS plan, turning policy and legislation into clear priorities and controls.
• Bring the global EHS strategy to life on site, ensuring teams are supported with the toolkit to improve EHS performance.
• Lead by example with site teams and contractors, setting expectations and building capability for safe outcomes.
• Own and support EHS relationships with site and regional stakeholders, advising on risk and accountability.
• Support the site assurance programme — audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
