Job summary

Mars Veghel is seeking a Regional Project Engineer Automation & Controls to lead CAB investments across sites, providing technical leadership to multi-disciplinary teams in automation, electrical, and digital manufacturing. The role covers scoping, design, execution and project closure with a focus on safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering.
3-5 years engineering/technical experience.
Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA systems.
Willingness to work across disciplines.
Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

Deliver projects per Mars PM curriculum from scope to closure.
Lead engineering contractors and subcontractors.
Maintain supplier relationships for quality and timely delivery.
Manage project budgets within financial objectives.
Lead the technical pillar or overall engineering project leader.
Define and execute technical solutions aligned with business, safety, and regulatory standards.
Oversee installation activities and FAT readiness.
Apply global and regional engineering standards throughout project execution.
Develop equipment specifications to support procurement and FAT.
Provide technical guidance to other departments in specific technology areas.
Participate in Regional COP and drive standard implementation.
Stay updated on automation and digital manufacturing trends.
