Job summary

Churned is seeking a Front-End Developer Intern to join our product and engineering team. You will build intuitive digital experiences with React and explore AI-assisted software development using Claude.

You will learn to use AI tools in real projects, gain practical front-end experience, and contribute to features used by customers. The role is a hybrid internship based by Amsterdam Amstel Station, with a €500 gross monthly allowance and strong mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Willingness to work in a six-month (or longer) internship.
• Experience with React.
• Strong interest in AI and Claude or similar tools.
• Curious, eager to learn, and open to experimentation.
• Proactive and able to take ownership.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces for our AI-powered SaaS platform.
• Develop and improve reusable React components.
• Turn product ideas and designs into polished front-end features.
• Use Claude and other AI tools to explore solutions and speed up development.
• Learn to review, test, and evaluate AI-generated code.
• Connect front-end functionality to APIs and data-driven services.
• Improve usability, performance, and consistency of the platform.
• Test and debug features.
• Contribute ideas during product discussions and team sessions.
