Job summary

A-Gas is seeking a proactive business developer for its Rapid Recovery service, focusing on securing new clients and growing existing relationships while delivering recovery work on customer premises. The role combines sales with hands-on service delivery, supporting efficient and safe recoveries across industrial and retail sites.

The successful candidate will travel regularly, work from home with flexible hours, and collaborate in a small team to expand A-Gas's brand and future sales

Qualifications

• Must have sales experience or be eager to move into sales.
• Mechanical aptitude to perform on-site recovery jobs.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Willing to travel regularly and work flexible hours/location.
• Ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly.
• Clean driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business for Rapid Recovery by securing clients and expanding relationships.
• Support growth of customer-focused service delivering efficient recoveries.
• Combine job delivery with client engagement to explain benefits of new offer.
• Travel regularly to customer sites, including travel to A-Gas sites as needed.
• Collaborate in a small team and manage multiple tasks.

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential

• o Sales experience or a strong desire to move into a sales role


• o Mechanical aptitude or experience


• o Desire to work in a role that combines sales with practical completion of recovery service jobs on customer premises ranging from industrial to retail and potentially air conditioning,


• o Experienced in working in a small team and carrying out a wide sphere of tasks


• o Good communication skills; able to demonstrate the enthusiasm and the skills needed for effective selling


• o Self-motivated individual with a flexible approach to location and hours


• o Able to learn new skills and technologies


• o Clean Driving license

Desirable

• o Experience of refrigeration systems


• o City and Guilds 2079 cat 1 qualification / CiTB J11 / FGcat1


• o Competent in the use of MS office applications on PC and iPad
