Job summary

Robin Radar in the Netherlands seeks an experienced NPI Sourcing Manager to lead the strategic sourcing and outsourcing of critical radar hardware, collaborating with R&D, Production, Quality, and Sales to move hardware from prototype to volume production.

You will drive early supplier integration, design for manufacturability, and cost optimization while managing supplier evaluations, negotiations, and dual-sourcing strategies.

Qualifications

• Early supplier integration and DFM in NPI processes.
• 3+ years of purchasing and strategic sourcing experience in high-tech manufacturing.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written (basic Dutch is a plus).
• Proven track record negotiating complex commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Involve key suppliers early in the NPI process; enforce DFM and DFC principles.
• Supervise strategic acquisition and outsourcing projects aligned with product portfolio.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with global suppliers for radar components.
• Lead should-cost analyses and establish dual-sourcing and risk mitigation.
• Guide sourcing through EVT to volume production; draft contracts and MSAs.
• Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics on inspections and ERP data integration.
