Job summary

Robin Radar in the Netherlands is seeking an Assembly Mechanic to build radar systems, connect electronics, and load software onto integrated servers. You will work closely with Production, Engineering and Warehouse colleagues, reporting to the Head of Production & Planning to ensure every radar leaves the floor reliably.

You’ll assemble and wire components from diagrams, test systems, and assist on-site testing at external locations.

Qualifications

• BA (MBO) degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
• Over three years of experience in high-tech assembly roles.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
• A methodical approach to tasks with meticulous precision.
• A proactive team player who can also work independently.
• Occasional travel for radar testing outside the office.

Responsibilities

• Assemble radar systems by wiring components, soldering parts, and building sub-assemblies.
• Follow electrical diagrams, keep logs, and report issues.
• Load software onto servers inside radar systems and ensure hardware-software integration.
• Spot and fix assembly faults; run quick diagnostics before shipping.
• Support off-site testing and operate forklift safely when needed.
