Job summary

Shyft Global Services, a TD SYNNEX Company, is seeking a Test Technician to test and validate rack-mounted computing, server, and data storage systems. You will execute manual, semi-automated, and automated test procedures, analyze logs, and provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience testing electronic systems or IT hardware.
• Familiarity with server, storage, or rack-mounted systems.
• Ability to read log files, error messages, and basic scripts.
• Basic knowledge of hardware, firmware, and system configurations.
• Detail-oriented, structured and solution-focused with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, system-level, and final testing on electronic systems and sub-assemblies.
• Work with manual, semi-automated, and automated test setups and scripts.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve hardware and configuration-related issues.
• Interpret log files and test results to identify system faults.
• Document test results and deviations in accordance with established procedures.
• Provide technical support to customers with internal teams.
• Contribute to improvements in test processes and quality assurance.
