Job summary

Supermicro Computer B.V. is currently seeking a Test Engineer to join the Racks Solutions team in the Netherlands. The role focuses on assisting in product development, testing, and debugging, providing Open Box Testing for production, warehouse, rack integration and server sample tests.

The candidate will work cross-department with R&D Engineers and product managers, conducting tests and generating reports. Strong Linux testing skills and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• BSCS/BSCE/EE or MSCS/MSCE/MSEE is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills at Linux server system testing and debugging.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Solid communications skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform Testing for production, warehouse, rack integration and server sample systems.
• Review and analyze failure logs, and follow up with related personnel.
• Work with cross-functional teams for system testing and assist in product development.
• Generate test report and record the complete test process, configuration, findings and results periodically.
• On-Site Installation/Testing occasionally.
• Help on QC for Rack Projects occasionally.
