Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking an R&D IT Automation Engineer/DevOps Engineer in Eindhoven to drive automation within the R&D IT Platform. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, develop platform components, and advise on automation improvements.

You will collaborate with developers and operations to deliver a self-service, secure, and automated environment powered by modern tooling and AI concepts. You will work with cutting-edge technologies in an AWS cloud-based architecture, contributing

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
Three years of experience working on DevOps implementations and operations.
Solid DevOps mindset and ability to evaluate and optimize DevOps processes and practice using Lean or Agile.
Knowledge with maintaining automation and configuration management using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodeDeploy.
Good understanding of Linux operating systems, networking, and server management and use tools such as Ansible, Bash, Python.
Comfortable in providing Windows automations through PowerShell
Curious and proactive in exploring AI capabilities to improve processes, automate routine tasks, and enhance productivity.
Solution-oriented, hands-on, and flexible in responding to business needs.
Customer-centric and no IT service provider mind set (SLAs, siloed)
Valuing the importance of working together with others to be successful as a team and part of a larger organization
