Job summary

Quatt is building an AI-native platform that powers how we sell, install, and service heat pumps. You will own the end-to-end platform across customer portals, cloud infrastructure, and the workflow engine, while leading the engineering organization responsible for shipping it.

The next wave of category winners in physical-product businesses won't be the ones with the best marketing. They'll be the ones who rebuild their operations as AI-native software. We believe the window to lead that shift is short, and we're going all-in.

We have the vision. We have CEO conviction. We have the engineering foundations. What we don't have yet is the leader who'll own the platform end-to-end and run the team that ships it.

That's this role.

What You Own

• All software (outside of core product) and data.
• The customer portal, the cloud and infrastructure behind them, the workflow engine that runs operations, and the internal tooling our teams use every day - planning, work preparation, installer software, and everything in between.
• Every digital surface an installer or team member touches sits in your scope. Core product software sits outside this role, but you’ll work with that team closely to ensure strong integration.
• The engineering organisation behind all of the above. You set the architecture, hire the developers and run the cadence.
• The systems strategy. Decide what we build, what we buy, and what we delete. Anything deletable, you delete.
• The roadmap and the team that ships it. Daily commits. Weekly shipping. Hourly iteration on prototypes.

You also need to build yourself. Not just direct. Not just review. We hire generals who ride the horse.

What We're Looking For

• Built and shipped a product or platform at scale. Strong pre: AI-native or agent-driven systems.
• American-style operator energy. Recruits ruthlessly. Runs lean. Keeps cadence.
• Strong taste. Opinionated on architecture, on UX, on what "good" looks like.
• Bold. You've killed something legacy and rebuilt it. You've made hard people calls.
• System-level thinker sees the whole funnel, not just their box.
• Direct. Says the thing in the room.
• Comfortable working alongside founders who'll challenge every requirement and ship feedback in real time.

What This Role Is NOT

• Not a coordinator or program manager.
• Not a transformation consultant. We're builders.
• Not someone who needs a year to "diagnose." We need execution.
• Not a chair-warmer running a sprawling org. We're consolidating, not expanding.
